Historia de la canción "We Are The World"

«We Are the World» (en español: «Somos el mundo») es una canción escrita por Michael Jackson y Lionel Richie en 1985, producida por Quincy Jones y grabada por un gran grupo de músicos famosos formado especialmente para la ocasión que se denominó Usa for Africa (United Support of Artists for Africa). La grabación de la canción se realizó el 28 de enero de 1985 y fue publicada el 7 de marzo del mismo año por el sello Columbia Records. Los beneficios obtenidos por la canción fueron donados a una campaña humanitaria para intentar acabar con la tremenda hambruna en Etiopía.

En 2010 (25 años despues) hicieron una nueva versión de esta para ayudar a los de Haití despues del terrible terremoto que sufrieron, y la tradujeron al español también, aqui teneis las dos versiones de la canción del 2010. Historia de la canción "Beat It"

"Beat It" es una canción escrita e interpretada por Michael Jackson, ganó dos premios Grammy en las cate"gorías de "mejor canción del año" y "mejor voz masculina de rock". Como curiosidad destaca que el solo intermedio de la canción fue grabado por el guitarrista Eddie Van Hallen, tambien fue nominada para la cancion del año 1982 junto  "Billie Jeans" tambien de Jackson.

La canción causó revuelo en el Reino Unido, lo que le valió a Michael Jackson para estar en boca de todos y volver a las tiendas con estruendoso éxito de ventas. "Beat It", una de las canciones más famosas en toda la carrera de Michael Jackson, del disco Thrillerfue bien criticada al ganar múltiples premios.

El videoclip de "Beat it", dirigido por Bob Giraldi y coreografiado por Michael Peters, que cuenta con algunos de los mejores movimientos de baile de Jackson, se ha convertido en un clásico del vídeo rock. Famoso por su coreografía grupal sincronizada contó con la presencia de gente perteneciente a bandas de verdad y 18 bailarines profesionales. El video le costo a Michael 150.000 dolares despues de que la CBS negara financiarselo.

El video comienza con los miembros de dos bandas corriendo la voz para reunirse y pelear entre ellos. Jackson, recostado en su cama, habla sobre lo absurdo de la violencia. Conforme los dos bandos se acercan más y más al lugar del enfrentamiento Michael sale de su cama y vestido con una cazadora de cuero rojo se dirige también al mismo lugar. Él interrumpe la pelea entre los jefes rivales y todos juntos bailan una coreografía entendiendo que con la violencia no se llega a ningún sitio.

Es la séptima canción del album con el mismo nombre lanzado el 1984 a través de de Epic Records.

La conción figuro en múltiples álbumes de grandes éxitos de Jackson, como HI story (1995), Number Ones (2003), The Essential Michael Jackson (2005), asi como en la banda sonra de This Is It (2009)

El vídeo musical del sencillo, titulado Michael Jackson's Thriller tuvo un gran éxito y con catorce minutos de duración, es más largo que la canción. En su trama, Jackson y la actriz Ola Ray se encuentran en un ambiente inspirado en las películas de terror de la década de 1950. En una de las escenas, Jackson dirige a otros actores disfrazados de zombis en una coreografía. Pese a que generó controversias por su temática de misterio y violencia, se volvió muy popular y recibió muchos elogios de la crítica. Recibió nominaciones en seis categorías de los MTV Video Music Awards en 1984 y ganó tres. En 2009, se añadió al Registro Nacional de cine de la Biblioteca del Congreso de Estados Unidos y fue el primer vídeo de música en seleccionarse.

La versión inicial de la canción fue escrita por Jackson y John Barnes en 1985 y la maqueta grabada en 1986. El título original era Al Capone y más tarde sería retocada y reescrita como Smooth Criminal.

La canción es la pieza central de la película musical Moonwalker. La letra trata de una mujer llamada Annie que ha sido atacada en su apartamento por un asaltante. La versión que se escucha en el video musical es diferente de la editada en el álbum: la percusión de fondo es diferente, hay frases nuevas y la canción es mucho más larga.

Historia de la cancion "Billie Jeans"

"Billie Jeans" es una canción R&B disco del artista Michael Jackson. Forma parte del sexto album del mismo cantante titulado Thriller (1982) k fue numero uno durante 76 semanas en todo el mundo.

Recibio dos Premios Grammy en 1984, uno era el de mejor canción masculina.

ORIGEN

El biógrafo J. Randy Taraborrelli promueve la teoría de que «Billie Jean» fue derivada de una experiencia en la vida personal que el cantante tuvo cerca de 1981. En los documentos llamados "The Magic & The Madness" se habla de una joven que le escribió una carta al cantante informándolo de que era padre de sus gemelos. Jackson, quien habitualmente recibía cartas de este tipo, nunca la conoció y por tanto la ignoró. La misma joven envió más cartas a Jackson, alegando que ella lo amaba y que quería estar con él. Ella también expresó lo feliz que sería si criaran a los niños juntos y le preguntaba cómo podía ignorar a su propia carne y sangre. Las cartas perturbaron tanto a Jackson que sufrió varias pesadillas.

Continuando con las cartas, un día Jackson recibió un paquete que contenía una fotografía de una fan, así como una carta y una pistola. Jackson, horrorizado, leyó que debía acordar un determinado día y hora para suicidarse. Ella haría lo mismo (después de matar a su bebé también) ya que, si no podían estar juntos en esta vida, entonces sería en la otra.

Para consternación de su madre, Jackson tenía la fotografía enmarcada y colgada por encima de la mesa del comedor de su casa. Poco después, los Jacksons descubrieron que la fan había sido enviada a un hospital psiquiátrico. Al terminar se descubre que todo fue un engaño.

Se cree que la canción es un tributo a la tenista Billie Jeans King de aqui este gran exito.
